About this guide
This is general information, not medical advice. It reflects published guidance and Peter Wingrove's personal experience of prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment. It does not know your history or your results, and it is no substitute for your GP or specialist team. Peter's treatment pathway is palliative, not curative — his PSA numbers reflect successful disease management, not a cure.
Where the answers come from
Every answer was researched from named, authoritative sources — the NHS, NICE, Prostate Cancer UK, Macmillan, Cancer Research UK, major published trials, and US equivalents such as the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the American Cancer Society. Sources are listed under each answer so you can check anything yourself.
How it stays current
The content is re-checked on a monthly cycle against its sources, so new approvals, trial results and policy changes are folded in. This copy was last reviewed on .
